Membership Information
The South Carolina Peach Council invites all peach industry supporters and associates to join the Council. The benefits of membership include:
- NETWORKING: The Council sponsors industry events, conventions, luncheons, meetings, and golf tournaments throughout the year. This is a valuable opportunity for growers, researchers, allied industry, and produce buyers to learn from each other and exchange ideas.
- SCIENTIC RESEARCH: Members get to invest and be the first to learn about exciting scientific breakthroughs and innovations that will influence the future of the peach industry.
- PROMOTION: Promotional support is provided to South Carolina Peach Council members. Special events, Point-of-Purchase materials, consumer marketing, retail promotions, advertising, and additional promotional services are handled by a full-time program coordinator.
- PUBLIC RELATIONS: This is a valuable benefit of membership. Press releases are sent out via email, post, and the Council’s website to an increase awareness of South Carolina peaches. Someone is always on call to answer questions from the media.
- BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Membership offers you the cooperation of professionals within our industry. This unity makes the Council a powerful ally in the world of commerce.
- LEGISLATION: Legislative monitoring and updates allow members to be knowledgeable advocates for the peach industry and to be aware of current governmental issues and regulations.
